CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS SUMMARY

During the period from April through July 2026, as potential band members move toward formally joining the band, each musician will be asked to review and sign a band agreement.
The goal of this agreement is simple: to create a fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial structure for everyone involved.
Key elements of the agreement will include the following:
Shared Royalty Participation
- In a generous and somewhat unusual structure, each band member will receive a meaningful share of the songwriting royalties generated by the band’s music. These royalties will also include income generated from recordings and album releases.
- Royalty payments will continue for as long each musician remains an active member of the band.
- If a band member chooses to leave the band and stop participating in recording and touring activities, royalty payments related to future band activity will no longer apply to that individual.
Standard Artist and Management Agreements
- The agreement will also include the customary responsibilities and expectations typically found in professional artist-management relationships.
- All agreements will be written in clear, straightforward language, with complete transparency and no hidden terms or fine print.
Royalty Continuation for Estates
- If a band member passes away while still an active member of the band, royalty payments earned during their participation will continue to be paid to that musician’s estate.
Individual Contract Review
- Each band member will have the opportunity to review the agreement individually and discuss any questions before signing.
- The intention is for every member of the band to feel fully comfortable, informed, and aligned with the long-term structure of the project.

Before applying, all musicians must understand and agree to several key points. These include adherence to our band's code of conduct, confidentiality, respecting creative differences, and commitment to the outlined rehearsal and performance schedule. We will have a formal agreement detailing intellectual property rights, profit-sharing percentages, and responsibilities within the band. Musicians must be able to perform in Denver, Colorado, or be willing to transition there as outlined in our "Transitioning To Denver" page.
