VOCALISTS & MUSICIANS

If you are a vocalist or musician with strong music ability, technical proficiency, a strong sense of rhythm, and the ability to adapt to various musical styles, you are encouraged to submit an Application to be considered for the band.

The band will consist of seven members:

  • Four vocalists (two female and two male)
  • Three instrumentalists

The four vocalist will become the face of the band, performing at the front of the stage and sharing lead and harmony responsibilities.

The three instrumentalists will be the rhythm section, supporting the music with strong instrumental performances while also having opportunities to take solos during certain songs.

VOCALISTS

Each vocalist should have:

  • A robust vocal range
  • at least two distinct vocal textures or tones
  • The ability to sing both naturally and in falsetto

All vocalists must have a good musical ear.

While not required, it is preferred that the vocalists are able to play at least one instrument.

The band is not designed around a single lead singer. Instead, the vision is for each vocalist to:

  • sing lead on certain songs
  • contribute harmony vocals on others.

This approach allows the band to develop rich vocal identity and dynamic performances.

MUSICIANS

Management is also seeking three core instrumentalists:

  • Guitarist
  • Bassist
  • Drummer

Most of the music written for this project has been arranged specifically for these three instruments.

The musicians will provide the foundation of the band’s sound, supporting the vocalists while contributing their own musical expression.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

This opportunity may be a good fit for musicians who:

  • enjoy collaborating closely with other talented musicians
  • singers who are comfortable performing both lead and harmony parts
  • are excited about building a band from the ground up
  • are open to relocating to Denver
  • are sincere in committing to the long-term musical collaboration

WHO THIS OPPORTUNITY MAY NOT BE GOOD FOR

This project may not be a good fit for individuals who:

  • are primarily interested in short-term projects
  • prefer working independently rather than collaboratively
  • are unable to commit to the rehearsal and recording schedule
  • are not sincere to be initially based out of Denver

MUSICAL VERSATILITY

While the band will have a dedicated rhythm section consisting of guitar, bass, and drums, additional music elements are planned to be introduced when they enhance the sound of a song.

For this reason, it is valuable - though not required - for some vocalists to also play an instrument, which might include:

  • Keyboards or piano
  • Tambourine of other rhythm instruments
  • Saxophone or other melodic instruments
  • Acoustic guitar or other supporting instruments

These instruments would be used selectively to add texture, color, and musical depth to certain songs.

The goal is not to complicate the band’s core sound, but rather allow the music to expand naturally when the song calls for it.

This approach gives the band flexibility to create performances that are both musically rich and visually engaging for listeners and audiences.

A LIVE, AUTHENTIC SOUND

All current recordings of the songs have been produced without overdubbing, a strong virtue of the band.

The intention is that everything recorded for the albums will be reproduced during live performances. This approach reflects an important value of the band, creating music that is real, authentic and powerful in live performances.

THE GOAL

The goal is to assemble a group of talented musicians who can work well together to create music that is authentic, energetic, and meaningful for audiences to experience.
