PROFIT SHARING

Unlike most band projects, this band is structured so that the musicians share directly in the songwriting royalties. The long-term vision for this band is simple: Create meaningful music, perform live, build a strong audience/following, and allow everyone involved in the project to share in its success.

In the traditional music industry, record labels and large organizations often receive the majority of the financial benefits, while musicians and songwriters receive only a small portion of the royalties generated from their work.

This project is structured differently.

ROYALTY SHARING

Management is committed to sharing songwriting royalties from the band’s recorded music with members of the band and other key contributors involved in developing and promoting the project.

Under the current structure, the total songwriting royalty pool will be divided as follows:

50% - Band Members

50% - Management and the Project Development Team

The management portion helps support individuals who play key roles in building the band’s long-term success, including:

  • The band manager
  • Web and marketing development
  • Other contributors helping to launch and promote the project
  • The songwriters who created the catalogue of songs

LONG-TERM PARTICIPATION

Members of the band will share in songwriting royalties generated by albums they record with the group.

If a band member records one album and then leaves the band, that member will continue receiving royalty income related to the album they participated in, but will not receive in royalties from future albums recorded after their departure.

This structure ensures that musicians are rewarded for the work they contribute while maintaining fairness for future band members.

LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

Band members who remain with the group over multiple albums will have the opportunity to participate in royalty income from the growing catalogue of recorded music.

Because royalties from recorded music can continue for many years, long-term participation in the band has the potential to create meaningful ongoing income for the musicians involved.

The chart below provides a simplified illustration of how songwriting royalty participation may accumulate over time for band members who remain with the group over multiple albums.
